Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to assess one current health policy related to a health risk or disparity. The alignment of the selected health policy with national population health initiatives will be appraised. Students will develop one recommendation to reduce health risk or disparity and promote improved health outcomes. Finally, opportunities to enhance population health through interprofessional collaborative practice will be examined.
