Purpose

To lead a change in practice through your MSN Project, you will need to translate research into practice to influence outcomes. Every practice problem is informed by and requires the support of published research.

The review and critical appraisal of individual research study articles includes evaluating the research team’s plan and process for protecting the individuals who served as subjects in each study reviewed.

To understand the complexities of involving human participants in evidence-based practice and/or research projects, students are required to complete the Human Subjects Research Course provided by CITI – Biomedical Research Investigator’s course.
