NURS-4220K: Leadership Competencies – Summer
This course focuses on developing leadership competencies in nursing practice with an emphasis on quality improvement, performance measurement, systems thinking, and evidence-based change implementation. The course prepares nurses to function as leaders in healthcare environments by strengthening skills in data analysis, root cause analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strategic planning. Throughout the course, students apply leadership theory to real-world quality improvement initiatives and complete a capstone project demonstrating measurable practice change.
